The smiles that I used to see,
Seemed to grow cold by days and weeks.
The firm gestures of unity and strength,
They now mean nothing to me.

The pictures in my memory,
Stood still in time and speed.
Yet nothing more they can ever be,
Nothing more than faces in print.

Helpful souls they all want to be,
Not a grumble they took all in.
Yet how can they ever help,
If they don't mean anything to me.

Standing in solitude in face of time,
One will not victor the test of trust.
Helpess dreams and twisted thoughts
